Limited edition giclée fine art print. Printed on 300 gsm Fine Art Smooth paper. Paper size: 21 x 29.7 cm (A4).
I am donating 50% of the purchase price of each print to a charity, which I will choose each year on my birthday. For this first year – until September 2027 – I am donating to Ehlers-Danlos Support UK (EDS UK) (www.ehlers-danlos.org).
I began my #800WEEKS project in May 2026. At that point it was 800 weeks until my 80th birthday, and I made a commitment to produce one (not exclusively) Small Work on Paper each week for 800 weeks – 800 works on paper by the time I am 80! The only constraint is that the paper will be A4 (297 x 210 mm) in size.
I also committed to make each image available as a limited edition giclée print – limited to just 80. Signed and numbered; each comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
#800WEEKS: 008 – 01/07/2026 Limited Edition Giclee Print by Philip Copestake
The edition is limited to 80, signed and numbered.
EDS UK was set up in 1987 to support, advise and inform those living with Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS), and is the largest UK charity that exclusively represents people with all types of EDS.
The Ehlers-Danlos syndromes are a group of thirteen individual genetic (heritable) conditions, all of which affect the body’s connective tissue. Connective tissue lies between other tissues and organs, keeping these separate whilst connecting them, holding everything in place and providing support. As connective tissue is vital throughout the body, people with EDS tend to experience a broad range of diverse and sometimes debilitating symptoms – including long-term pain, chronic fatigue, dizziness, palpitations and digestive disorders. These are complex syndromes affecting many systems of the body at once. Despite this, EDS is often an invisible disability.
